The Alexander Technique

Describing the Alexander Technique is always a personal experience unto itself. This is similar to a moment. It is there, defined and seemingly settled. Then, there is a breath, a shift, a change.

When we come into the world we are given the chance to live, breathe and take in the space around us, seemingly without any consequence. We live from moment to moment with a sense of wonder without defining our experience. We live in acceptance and trust.

As we get older, our relationship with the world and more importantly with ourselves changes. Instead of taking the world in with wonder, we define it. We define ourselves in relationship to the world around us in such a way that there is no room for change. There is no room for choice.

What if we had choice?
